Each thing from the very beginning has the idea of contrast in itself. You should just change the angle of view - and the white becomes black, the drama turns into farce, and global collapses tripping over a particular. Famous philosopher Hegel came to the dialectical unity of opposites after notice this world feature around us. However, the bigger part of humanity more willingly watching them struggle.

Building of ideal world begins from the perfect composition for the photographer. Our eyes keep the memory of the moving objects in field of view, but the camera lens can capture their presence at various points in this field, combining many aspects of life in one matrix. Pop art, for the conceptualist Robert Saller, is only a tool: a comfortable (not change for easy) stencil aesthetics, one of the most accurate two-dimensional art methods of conveying the mood of our time. Modernity, in turn, mixed entertainment with market risks, fashion with tasteless, technology with personal relationships. The exhibition "12/360" in Karas Gallery will show 12 works from the series "360" (2008-2038). Each picture from the series is a particular month of the artist's life until 2038. Artist appeared in a situation of crisis when studio bought on credit was 2 times cheaper, and the rate of $ twice bigger. Now, the 30 years of artist life belong not only to him but also to the bank.

The exhibition neutralizes the traditional conflict between contexts of creation and representation of works of art - between the medium of creative studio and exhibition space. Of course, we will not tolerate a studio in the gallery, but will try with a help of accents create something. Why "Stuff"? Because art works and environment - the space of things. Geographical neighborhood of the studio and the gallery provides an opportunity to build the most adequately the desired sensation.

A collective exhibition of two artists-colleagues from group R.E.P. dedicated to the theme of incessant upgrade of living environment of post-Soviet city and hidden reality in the poor shine of variable surfaces. For artist’s point of view, "Euro renovation" deeply goes through all social processes of young post-socialist country. "Euro renovation conciseness" always ignores “fundamental” for “simulation”. It becomes the subject of study in a picturesque series of Lesya Khomenko and installation Nikita Kadan from which consist exhibition.

The exhibition of Victor Pokidanets "Brigade", which includes two large-scale five-meter works, is the logical continuation of a great program "ArtProm". This project started few years ago ("Soot" 2007, "ArtProm" 2008, "Lunch Time" 2009). This is not an art simulation and searching for fashionable topic, but a natural for the author observation and experience of private, daily and occurring.

Today's reality demands. Today's life demands radically new approach to business. We need new powerful tools in order to demonstrate for the potential client the most effective part of our company, the uniqueness of her products and services, for constant feeling the mood of our consumers and anticipate theirs desires, to be ahead of the competitor and to optimize relationships with suppliers and partners. The novel "Woman of his dream" became a landmark for the situation with censorship in our country. The conclusion of National Etic Commission (NEC) expert about pornographic contest of novel was enough for publisher to withdraw the book from sale. It was the reason why the author, Shevchenko prize laureate, has become a persona non grata in Ukrainian literature. Ulyanenko’s fight with NEC in the court was desperate, juridical absurd step. Country was watching this confrontation with interest, but detached. There were only few people who have not blame writer in collaboration, when he signed a peace agreement about ending the process because of agreement of symbolic revision (the corrected sentence printed in italics in a new edition). But "Woman of his dreams" with us again!

Последняя по времени живописная серия Алексея Аполлонова названа с обескураживающей простотой: «Художник и модель». Одновременно мотив этот столь благороден, что может сложиться впечатление, будто он существует вечно. На самом деле, является детищем Нового времени; если верить Золя и Голсуорси, еще в конце ХІХ ст. живописцы испытывали некоторые затруднения даже при попытке практической реализации оного. Лише в прошлом лохматом веке тема эта расцветает с небывалой силой… на несколько десятилетий, чтобы затем ее смела волна абстракции. Прочее слишком хорошо известно, дабы это повторять.
